Catholic Charities of Salina, Inc. received its charter of
incorporation in January, 1959 under the guidance of its founder
and first director, Msgr. Alfred J. Wasinger. Catholic Charities
has offices in Colby, Concordia, Hays, Manhattan, and Salina to serve the
people in north central and northwestern Kansas. These offices
provide outreach to the 31 counties of the Salina Diocese and
include Cheyenne, Sherman, Wallace, Logan, Thomas, Rawlins,
Decatur, Sheridan, Gove, Trego, Graham, Norton, Phillips, Rooks,
Ellis, Russell, Osborne, Smith, Jewell, Mitchell, Lincoln,
Ellsworth, Saline, Ottawa, Cloud, Republic, Washington, Clay,
Dickinson, Geary, and Riley. Catholic Charities serves people of
all faiths who are in need of our services.

the Catholic Diocese of Salina, Kansas. We promote the Gospel by
providing quality services to those in need and ministering to,
