Introduction

Catholic Charities of Salina, Inc. received its charter of incorporation in January, 1959 under the guidance of its founder and first director, Msgr. Alfred J. Wasinger. We have offices in:

  • Salina

These offices provide outreach to people of all faiths in the 31 counties of the Salina Diocese.

Our Mission

Catholic Charities of Salina, Inc. is a social service agency of the Catholic Diocese of Salina, Kansas. We promote the Gospel by providing quality services to those in need and ministering to, for, and with all God's people.

Our Vision

Inspired by the social teachings of the gospels and respect for the sanctity of life, Catholic Charities pursues quality services on behalf of people in need, working toward eradicating the root causes of such social realities as poverty, racism, and oppression; develops effective alliances with parishes and the communities at large; and strives to build the organizational and resource capacity to empower people to participate in the mission of Catholic Charities.
